Aircraft Prebuy Self-Help Program

About the Course

The Aircraft Pre-Buy Self-Help Program is designed to help buyers perform meaningful upfront research before committing to an aircraft purchase or paying for a full pre-purchase inspection. Rather than replacing a professional pre-buy, this course focuses on early-stage due diligence to help you identify deal-breakers, understand maintenance risk, and make informed go/no-go decisions.

You’ll learn how to review aircraft listings critically, interpret logbooks and maintenance history, recognize common red flags, and understand how ADs, modifications, and configuration choices affect ownership costs. The course also covers how to prepare for a professional pre-buy inspection when you’re ready, ensuring your time and money are spent wisely.

This program is ideal for buyers who want clearer expectations, fewer surprises, and a stronger position when evaluating aircraft or negotiating a purchase.
