Services

01

Annual Inspections

There are two methods of compliance for inspections. Unless otherwise specified, Aircraft annual inspections will be completed in accordance with 14 CFR Appendix D to Part 43, Scope and Detail of Items (as Applicable to the Particular Aircraft) To Be Included in Annual and 100-Hour Inspections.  Some aircraft manufacturers have developed an annual, 100 hour, or CPC (corrosion prevention & control) inspection checklist that is above and beyond the minimum requirements of 14 CFR Appendix D.  It is important to understand these differences and how they apply to your aircarft.   Additionaly these alternative checklists require additioanl time to complete the inspections.  For example textron has developed SID program that is to be completed and evaluated during 100 hour inspections.  We believe these programs are benificial and should be considered, but do need to be evaluated and additional time taken to implememtnt these inspections and corrosion preventitive procedures.

03

AD Compliance

14 CFR part 91, § 91.417(a)(2)(v) requires each registered owner or operator to keep a record of the current status of applicable ADs. This status includes for each the method of compliance, AD number, and revision date. If the AD involves recurring action, the time and date should be recorded when the next action is required. As a vital part of the services offered by Airframe Envy, this AD research is aimed to provide the owner with information he or she is expected to keep.  We will document all past ADs against equipment installed.  We will review applicability, and past compliance methods, then document to be easily referenced in the future.  You will only need to keep up to date on future ADs and add reference and compliance to documents.

05

Records Management

Maintaining aircraft records can be a tedious chore.   As aircraft inspectors we notice some owner operators struggle with this part of aircraft ownership.   We want to increase the value of your aircraft while also making your ownership experience enjoyable.  To do that we have developed an aircraft records keeping system that will organize your records in a neat and easily searchable format.   We will separate the necessary historical aircraft documents like parts traceability tags from the clutter of invoices and sales letters.   If you have opted in for us to digitize your records, we will review your logbooks for important dates, AD compliance, part changes and make digital record of these events that is easily searchable by you.  Small single engine aircraft are billed at 8 hours, aircraft with large amounts of STCs, modifications, or twin engines require additional time.

Pre Purchase Evaluation

An aircraft pre-purchase evaluation, also known as a pre-buy inspection or tech appraisal, is a thorough examination of an aircraft to determine its condition and identify any issues: damage, wear, maintenance problems, and airworthiness directives.

The inspection can help ensure a fair deal when buying a private airplane and could save thousands of dollars in the long run. The extent of the inspection depends on the aircraft's age and complexity, as well as the buyer's wishes. It can include both on-aircraft and off-aircraft tasks, such as:

  • On-aircraft checks

Part numbers, modification statuses, serial numbers, software levels, ground power checks, and airborne checks

  • Off-aircraft tasks

Checking documentation and records, such as the aircraft's valid airworthiness certificate, current registration, weight and balance, and pilot's operating handbook

Ideally, the inspection should be performed by a qualified and approved Aviation Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul facility (MRO) at a factory-authorized service center or type-specific specialty shop. The mechanic or shop chosen should have no prior relationship with the seller or their aircraft, and should not have previously maintained the aircraft.

02

Aircraft Servicing

Aircraft servicing intervals can sometimes be out of sync with your annual inspections. Owner operators may also prefer to complete their own service items.  We have the ability to complete any servicing needed, and will have you specify what you would like included during your inspection.   This may be a one off servicing event, and you may submit a request for servicing only as well.

04

Digital Aircraft Records

Protect your asset with a digital PDF backup of all your aircraft maintenance records and documents.  We will upload all your logbooks, equipment lists, weight and blance files, required AD compliance list, 337s and more to a secure digital shared file.   During the course of your engagement with Airfram Envy we will maintain these digtital records with any additioanl documents.   This will give you the security over missing historical records, and the ease of sharing records if you ever were to sell your aircarft.   Small single engine aircarft are billed at 8 hours, aircraft with large amounts of STCs, modifications, or twin engines require additioanl time.

06

Photo Documentation

Many times as owners we need to review something inside of our aircraft, or reference a location and part our mechanic is talking about.  You may even have a desire to see everything inside of your aircraft that maintenance sees.  Corrosion and damage can be tracked with time stamped photo documentation of your aircraft.  Or if the time has come to sell your aircraft, showing prospective buyers how immaculate your aircraft is may help close a deal quickly. We will photo document your aircraft and upload to out secure owners files.  We will sperate photos into aircraft sections with naming that will help easily identify locations of photos.  Maintenance can also review questions and document remarks directly on phots for owner operators to visually see items in question.   Small single engine aircraft are billed at 8 hours, large aircraft or twin engines require additional time.
